I created to avatars and tried to make them look like me. It was difficult; there was no hair style or eye colour that looked like mine so I picked the closest one.
They both look different because I picked different websites to create them. Making avatars made me realise that you could use an avatar instead of a photo to either hide or protect yourself.
I feel like having an avatar instead of a photo for your profile picture is a good idea, as it makes sure that people don’t find out exactly what you look like.
Be aware that just because someone’s avatar looks friendly, it doesn’t mean that they are and they may be using the avatar to hide not for protection.
It was also quite fun to make them.
